I have been a Marriage and Family therapist in private practice for just over 14 years. I have worked with individuals moving through the crises of life for over 25 years.

I see my job as continuing to maintain and increase my own "Hope Quotient" in order to be the holder of the Hope for my client's until they are able to Hope for themselves. A seed planter that gets to watch the seed germinate but will never see the end result. I pace and lead with encouragement until the client is able to move out on their own. I may be the first encourager but I won't be the last as my client experiences their own journey of Hope and then the reality of a life well lived as they develop the art of good choices.

How did I get to where I am today?

After graduating high school I attended Bethany College: major in Music and minor in Bible. I traveled and sang over the Northwestern states, Haiti and Japan. I met, married, had three children with my husband and we made Santa Cruz our home: where the redwoods kiss the sea. We moved to El Dorado County in 1980 and I still miss the beach weather. I have since moved to Riverside County, and serve the entire Riverside County out of my office in Murrieta, CA.

I have worked in several positions helping people navigate through the ups and downs of life before deciding to go back to college at California State University, Sacramento and gain my BA in Psychology and Masters in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling.
